![]() The first place on my list for places to take friends for dinner is Momofuku Noodle Bar. There's something for everyone...as long as they like fat and flavor. Their latest must-try dish is fried chicken, which I'm never going to make at home. In fact I'm not sure I'd ever try to make any of Chef David Chang’s recipes at home, but I still love his Momofuku cookbook. It's perfect bed-time reading after a meal at the restaurant. |

![]() I've never been a coffee person. I get the jitters, not the buzz. But something in my metabolism changed and now I'm chasing the perfect latte. This can be a disappointing journey as some coffee, even at great places, can be really bad. But I've found that any place that makes their brew with Stumptown or Blue Bottle coffee is usually reliable. I love Joe's on the Upper West Side. |

![]() I'm obsessed by amazing pizza margherita right now —the perfect puffy, lightly charred crust, sprightly tomato sauce, about 2 oz. of fresh mozzarella. I love Keste, Motorino and Co., all in New York City. I know pizza aficionados like to debate which is best, but honestly these guys are all great. My rationale for exploring all: I was told by an author of Eat This, Not That that pizza is practically health food, calorie-wise. |
